A method and system for realizing a transmission channel of a multi-service transmitting network are disclosed. The method includes the steps of: setting a working time slot for carrying a working channel and a protecting time slot for carrying a protecting channel in the same time slot position of data frames under different wavelengths, wherein the types of T-CONT frames in different directions of the communication between a sending node and a receiving node carried in the working time slots are identical; when the working channel is normal, receiving data from the working channel; and when the working channel is abnormal, switching to the protecting channel to receive the data.
