A method for online service control, content charging network elements and accounting system, wherein the method comprises the following procedures: receiving a service request from a user equipment UE; determining whether the service accessed by UE needs online control or not according to the service identifier configured in the classifier and the service identifier carried by service request from UE; applying a quota to accounting system and controlling the service accessed by UE online if online control is needed.
