<p>Productivity of a package is enhanced by reviewing the arrangement pattern of units constituting the spinning machinery so that the units can be handled or maintained conveniently. Spinning machinery (4) comprises draft control unit (12) for drawing a sliver (S), an air spinning unit (13) for stranding the sliver (S) and feeding out a spun yarn (Y), and a take-up unit (17) for taking up the spun yarn (Y) and forming a package (P). The thread handling area, in a section (8) where the units are disposed, consists of a first thread handling area (R1) which is horizontal or inclining gently, and a second thread handling area which is continuous to the first thread handling area (R1) and is guided by a yarn storage device (15) while being changed in the direction. The units are arranged along the first thread handling area (R1) and second thread handling area (R2).</p> |
