<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel selecting device, a channel selecting method, and a program, capable of setting a channel selection frequency to a just-tuning frequency without complicated frequency control. <P>SOLUTION: The channel selecting device incldues: a tuner circuit 11 that executes auto-scan processing for scanning a carrier signal by sequentially changing a channel selection frequency in a predetermined frequency range and selects a broadcast-wave signal of a channel selection frequency corresponding to frequency information to be supplied so as to frequency-convert the broadcast-wave signal into an intermediate-frequency signal; and a demodulation circuit 12 that uses a carrier frequency of a desired carrier when checking the existence of the desired carrier by receiving the intermediate-frequency signal and executes both processing of first processing for determining whether a current zone is a zone of which the frequency should be set lower than the channel selection frequency so as to increase the channel selection frequency, and second processing for determining whether the current zone is a zone of which the frequency should be set higher than the channel selection frequency so as to reduce the channel selection frequency, and then, sets the channel selection frequency to a target just-tuning frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
