<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination device capable of restraining erroneous determination that charging capacity of a battery is lowered due to starting of cranking before starting an electronic control device in determining lowering of the charging capacity of the battery under the condition that the electronic control device to carry out control of an engine during the cranking is not maintained in a starting state. <P>SOLUTION: An immobilizer ECU 70 predicts that an ignition switch 20 will be operated at a starting position. When it is predicted that the ignition switch 20 will be operated at the starting position, the immobilizer ECU 70 starts supplying electric power to an ECU 50 for controlling the engine from the battery 10 before the ignition key 21 is inserted into a key cylinder 22 to make it possible to operate the ignition switch 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
