PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lengthy volume hologram layer transfer foil continuously transferring a volume hologram layer to predetermined positions in a transferring object. SOLUTION: The lengthy volume hologram layer transfer foil includes a base material, a volume hologram layer formed on the base material and storing volume holograms, a heat seal layer formed on the volume hologram layer and containing a thermoplastic resin. In at least a part of the perpendicular direction to the longitudinal direction of the lengthy volume hologram layer transfer foil, a perpendicular cutout part is formed so that at least a part of the volume hologram layer is cut off, and at the same time, the perpendicular cutout part is not formed in the heat seal layer.
