PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-individual room, easily obtaining a good spatial environment equal to that of an individual room even in a large room and while a pay bed can be charged asking to pay the balance for a bed. SOLUTION: In a large room R of a hospital where at least four beds B are arranged to form a common passage F for each bed B at the foot of bed users, a side panel 1 for partitioning right and left adjacent beds B is set on a floor while a head-side panel 2 is set on the head side of each bed, and then both panels 1 and 2 are connected to thereby arrange a partition having a substantially T-shaped plan view between the two beds B parallel with each other. Also, at the foot of each bed B which is partitioned by the T-shaped partition, a curtain rail 4a facing the common passage F and corresponding to the side panel 1 is disposed individually on the ceiling side for each bed B, and the respective curtain is set parallel with the passage F.
