<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for performing focusing control to an object that a photographer wants to photograph, making an exposure control and optimally performing photographing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A camera recognizes the object, and photographing time is recorded for each object. A priority order is set to the object from the time, and the focusing control and the exposure control are performed to the object of the high priority order. The priority order obtained in the past is used as needed. The priority order is also reset. The video image of the object recognized as having the high priority order is OSD displayed, or the object is marked at a display part.
