PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-like sampler for collecting powder from powder mixers, such as, V-shaped mixer for verification of mixing condition, which correctly can verify the mixing condition by inhibiting movement of powder in sampling, without making the structure complex. SOLUTION: This invented rod-like sampler includes an inner shaft 2 having circular cross section, and an outer cylinder 3 axially/rotatably-fitted in circumference on the circular cross section of the above inner shaft 2. The sample is inserted into a powder from a plug-in 6 on its tip side, to make the outer cylinder 3 turn axially with respect to the inner shaft 2, and then form a recess 17 that is to be blocked after storage of powder on inner circumference side of the outer cylinder 3, sampling the powder. On the circumference of the circular cross section on the plug-in 6 of the inner shaft 2, a non-depressed notch type bearing face 13 that axially reaches the tip is formed, and the recess 17 is formed by the bearing face 13 and the inner circumference surface of the outer cylinder 3.
