PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the overcurrent protection circuit of a secondary battery which controls leakage current, when a discharge overcurrent is detected. SOLUTION: The overcurrent protection circuit includes a current detection terminal V-, which detects the discharge current of a secondary battery CELL by converting it into a voltage Vd; and an overcurrent reset resistor connection means 55 which connects the current detection terminal V- with an overcurrent reset resistor RS, having a different resistance, according to the magnitude of the voltage Vd detected at the current detection terminal V-, when the voltage Vd detected at the current detection terminal V- reaches a predetermined discharge overcurrent detection voltage and discharge overcurrent state, where overcurrent is discharged from the secondary battery CELL is detected.
