PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate viewing a video content. SOLUTION: A program information display device acquires information from a program information database and a video data database and causes a display device to display program information. The program information display device includes: a first reading means 101 which reads in first program information being program information including bibliographic information of programs and program-accompanying information, from the program information database; a first extraction means 102 which extracts first program attribute information showing a plurality of first program attributes, from the first program information per program; a second reading means 103 which reads in video data from the video data database when video data corresponding to the first program information is present; a second extraction means 104 which extracts a thumbnail image at the time of the presence of video data, the thumbnail image corresponding to the first program attributes, from video data when this thumbnail image is present; and a first storage means 105 which stores thumbnail images in association with the first program attributes per first program attribute.
