PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a belt installation tool in easiness to use with a simple and compact structure, to be used for winding a belt expandable in the peripheral length direction while fixing an inter-axial distance between the innermost side pulley and a second pulley, between the innermost side pulley of a two-stage pulley having this side pulley and the innermost side pulley juxtaposed in the axial direction and the second pulley as the other pulley. SOLUTION: This belt installation tool 9 has a cover part 10 for covering the outer periphery of this side pulley 5, and a bending guide curved surface 11 arranged on the second rotational direction B side more than the cover part 10 and running along the outer periphery of the innermost side pulley 6 by bending a V-ribbed belt 4 introduced to the outer periphery of the innermost side pulley 6 by crossing on the cover part 10.
