DEODORANT AGENT FOR HUMAN BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant agent for a human body, providing good feeling in use and having high deodorant effects. SOLUTION: The deodorant agent for the human body contains fine particle-shaped silica gel including zinc oxide fine particles produced by a production method including a micronized silica hydrogel slurry-preparing step comprising a hydrothermal pulverizing step for forming slurry of the micronized silica hydrogel having an average particle diameter of≤100μm by subjecting silica hydrogel in a slurry state having SiO2concentration of 5.0-15.0 mass% to hydrothermal treatment under stirring; a mixed slurry-forming step for obtaining mixed slurry of the silica hydrogel fine particles and the zinc oxide fine particles by introducing the zinc oxide fine particles in a primary particle state having an average particle diameter of 0.1-0.5μm into the micronized silica hydrogel slurry; and a drying step for drying the mixed slurry.
