<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion guide device not requiring to arrange a foreign matter discharge hole and a groove in a table part opposed to the discharge hole, when installing the linear motion guide device on the table, while arranging the discharge hole for discharging foreign matters intruding in a recessed part of a guide rail to an external part, in the linear motion guide device having a slider slidingly moving in the rail longitudinal direction in the recessed part of the guide rail having a U-shaped cross section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this linear motion guide device 70, the discharge hole 50 penetratingly formed so that the foreign matter intruded in the recessed part 74 of the guide rail 71 can be discharged to the external part, is arranged on a side surface of both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 71 and in a position noninterfering with a rolling element rolling groove 75.
