<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type vehicle achieving a compact vehicle front while ensuring flasher visibility and a sufficient mudguard function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The scooter 1 includes a front cover 2 having a center cover 30 and side covers 60L and 60R, and a movable front fender 9. A headlight opening 40 is formed in the center cover 30, and flasher openings 62 are formed in the side covers 60L and 60R, respectively. The side covers 60L and 60R have bulging portions 61 each including a portion that is positioned, as viewed from the front, at the same level as that of an under bracket 8 and vehicle-widthwise outward of top end portions 60A of them.
