Provided is an image display device that can make a user easily recognize an image belonging to a group.  A library view image classification unit (134) classifies a plurality of images acquired by a library view image acquisition unit (132) into one group or a plurality of groups associated with rankings.  A library view group image arrangement unit (136) arranges a group image corresponding to each group in accordance with the rankings of the groups along a group image arrangement reference line provided in a display area.  A library view representative image arrangement unit (140) arranges an image which belongs to any one of the groups corresponding to the scope on the group image arrangement reference line corresponding to a representative image arrangement area in the display area, as a representative image in the representative image arrangement area.  A library view space display unit (130) displays at least a part of the display area on a screen.
