<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body with enhanced safety wherein even though internal short-circuiting or external short-circuiting occurs in a power storage device, the direct-current link circuit of an inverter is not short-circuited. <P>SOLUTION: The movable body includes: the power storage device 19 that is connected to the direct-current link circuit of the inverter 16 in parallel with a direct-current power supply 11 and the inverter 16 and stores power from the direct-current power supply 11 and regenerative energy when the inverter 16 is in regenerative operation; a bidirectional insulation DC/DC converter 20 that is connected between the power storage device 19 and the direct-current link circuit and connects and insulates the power storage device 19 and the direct-current link circuit to and from each other; and a controller 21. When a short-circuit failure occurs in the power storage device 19, the controller stops the power storage device 19 or the bidirectional insulation DC/DC converter 20 and supplies power from the direct-current power supply 11 to the inverter 16.
