<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new aluminosilicate-based fluorophor wide in the half-width of emission peak thereof, emitting in blue to yellow-green colors effective for improving the color reproducibility of a light-emitting device containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorophor is represented by formula (I): R<SB>a</SB>M1<SB>(1-a)</SB>Al<SB>x</SB>Si<SB>y</SB>M2<SB>z</SB>(wherein, R is an activating elements including those selected from the group consisting of at least Eu, Ce, Tb and Mn; M1 is an alkali metal atom; M2 includes at least oxygen, being elements selected from oxygen and nitrogen; a is a number meeting the relationship: 0<a<0.5; x is a number meeting the relationship: 0.5≤x≤1.5; y is a number meeting the relationship: 0.5≤y≤2.5; and z is a number meeting the relationship: 3≤z≤7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
