<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book storage and management device and a book storage and management method capable of quickly detecting the mismatch of the data under management with the books actually stored in a container, and sufficiently supporting library staffs to practically addressing such an issue. <P>SOLUTION: This book storage and management device includes reading means 63, 69 for reading book codes from the wireless IC tags of all the books stored in the container which is requested to return books from stations 22, 24, 25 into a book room and a registration means 46 which compares the book codes read by the reading means 63, 69 with the updated storage content of a storage means 54 and registers the result of the comparison in the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
