PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a canister wherein workability of mounting on a vehicle body is improved. SOLUTION: A first through-hole 13 for insertion of a mounting bolt 4, and a second through-hole 14 adjacent to the first through-hole 13 are formed respectively in a mounting base 11 of the canister to be screwed down on the vehicle body. The first through-hole 13 and the second through-hole 14 are allowed to communicate with each other by a first slit 16 narrower than both the through-holes 13, 14. In case of collision of the vehicle body, the mounting bolt 4, while spreading out the first slit 16, breaks in the second through-hole 14 to prevent a canister body 5 filled with activated carbon from being broken.
