PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of displaying quickly a detailed map which is easily intelligible to a user. SOLUTION: In a map display device, a registration processing part 104 stores a candidate spot for a center position of a display map in candidate position information 400 correlatively with a domain on the map. When an input reception part 102 receives destination of a domain on the map, a candidate spot retrieval part 105 retrieves a candidate spot correlated with the received domain from the candidate position information 400.
