摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid bad influence of application of voltage equal to or more than power supply voltage to electronic equipment through an ignition coil connected to an ignition plug by constituting a structure so as not to generate back electromotive force in the ignition coil by the high frequency electric field through a center electrode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ignition plug 1 of a spark ignition type internal combustion engine 100 includes a housing 13 made of a conductive material, the center electrode 14 insulated and attached in the housing 13, and a ground electrode 15 separated from the center electrode 14 and disposed on a lower end of the housing 13. The spark discharge generated between the center electrode 14 and the ground electrode 15 is reacted with plasma generated in a combustion chamber 6, and the air-fuel mixture is ignited. The center electrode 14 is electromagnetically shut-off by the housing 13 kept in the ground potential capable of discharging a spark when being mounted on the spark ignition type internal combustion engine 100.
