<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stack paper money in an aligned state by stabilizing the behavior of the paper money when the paper money is stacked and reliably slapping away the rear end of the paper money by the blades of first and second impellers. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The longitudinal both ends of the paper money 10 which is held between a feed roller 13 and a reverse roller 17 and sent to a paper money storage part 11 when the paper money is stacked are pushed up to the feed roller 13 side by the flange part 3a of a retaining member 3 for restricting the axial movement of the second impeller 2 and the blade 2a of the second impeller 2. When the paper money 10 is released onto a stage 12 and stacked thereon, such an operation that the longitudinal both ends of the paper money 10 are flattered is prevented to stabilize the behavior of the paper money 10.
