PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure cause analysis system capable of safely analyzing a cause of a failure, even if the failure is one that cannot be predicted, in advance. SOLUTION: A behavior space constituting device 1 constitutes a behavior space by each module 5. An abnormal information collecting device 7 periodically acquire action data so as to calculate the degree of deviation in the behavior space. When the calculated degree of deviation exceeds a predetermined threshold, the calculated degree of deviation is stored as the degree of deviation of abnormal information. When a failure is detected, a failure information collecting device 9 acquires action data and calculates the degree of deviation in the behavior space, and stores the calculated degree of deviation as a degree of deviation of failure information. A failure cause analyzing device 11 analyzes the cause of failure, on the basis of an evaluation function including the degree of deviation of the abnormal information and the degree of deviation of the failure information.
