<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase volume efficiency of a vegetable compartment positioned in the lowest part of a refrigerator and improve usability by a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the refrigerator constituting, from the upper side, a refrigerating compartment 104, a freezing compartment 107 and the vegetable compartment 108 in the lowest position, a compressor 102 and an evaporator 109 are arranged on the upper part on the back face of a refrigerant body and the rear position of the freezing compartment 107, respectively. A water discharge route 202 and a water discharge pipe 203 for guiding drain water to outside of the refrigerator are arranged below the evaporator 109, and a defrosting water evaporation device 110 is arranged on the lower part on the back face of the refrigerant body. A heat generating means 205 is provided in an evaporation pan 204 of the defrosting water evaporation device 110 to enhance evaporation capacity. By making the defrosting water evaporation device 110 compact, storage efficiency of the vegetable compartment 108 in the lowest part can be drastically increased. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
