Disclosed is an air secondary battery using a nonaqueous electrolyte solution and having a low charging voltage. Specifically disclosed is an air secondary battery comprising an air electrode having an air electrode layer containing a conductive material and an air electrode collector for current collection of the air electrode layer, a negative electrode having a negative electrode layer containing a negative electrode active material and a negative electrode collector for current collection of the negative electrode layer, and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for metal ion conduction between the air electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The air secondary battery is characterized in that the air electrode collector is made of a carbon material, and the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a sulfonimide salt. |
