PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric module wherein a process of heating a raw material allowing efficient heating in a short time is used as a switch for power generation by heating the raw material to use it as a heat source. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric module includes a thermoelectric module body which has an thermoelectric element and a connection electrode of the element between a pair of supporting substrates, wherein a gel composition containing carbon nanotube is brought into contact with the surface of one supporting substrate.
