<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage container for a sink, which hardly causes clogging of the drainage holes and has a good a drainability when garbage in various sizes are charged and water flows in. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the garbage container for the sink, a plurality of garbage containing portions are mounted while a plurality of the drainage holes are formed in each garbage containing portion. The garbage container for the sink is configured so that water passing through the drainage holes 53 formed in the garbage containing portion 52 on the upstream side of water can flow into the garbage containing portion 62 on the downstream side of water while the drainage holes 53 having breadth larger than that of the drainage holes 63 formed in the garbage containing portion 62 on the downstream side of water are formed in the garbage containing portion 52 on the upstream side of water.
