<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile rotating press-in method and a rotary press-in pile for use in the method, allowing even a pile made of material not resistant to twisting such as a wood pile or a concrete pile heretofore regarded as difficult to carry out rotating press-in, to be buried by the rotating press-in method and moreover surely fixing the pile. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pile rotating press-in method comprises providing a tip blade member 1 at the tip of the pile 2; covering the outer periphery of the pile 2 with a sheath pipe 3 capable of withstanding rotating press-in, and connecting the sheath pipe 3 to the tip blade member 1; when rotating and pressing in the pile 2, rotating the tip blade member 1 through the sheath pipe 3 to connect the pipe 2 and to rotate and press in the pile 2 down to a required depth; when reaching the required depth, releasing the connection between the sheath pipe 3 and the tip blade member 1 and pulling out the sheath pipe 3 from the ground; and filling a predetermined backfilling material into a space 9 formed between the pile 2 and sediment after pulling out the sheath pipe 3 to stabilize the pile 2.
