摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service interruption detecting device for power line communication and a power line communication system which enable more appropriate detection of service interruption even when a filter circuit is used for a coupled circuit. SOLUTION: The service interruption detecting device 1a for power line communication and the power line communication system Sa include first to third paired conductors T1-T3, a coupled part 11 which is connected between the first paired conductors T1 and the second paired conductors T2 and takes out, through the first paired conductors T1, a communication signal of the power line transmission transmitted through a power line connected through the first paired conductors T1, while outputting the communication signal of the power line communication to the power line through the first paired conductors T1 so that the signal is superposed on the power electrifying the power line, and a first service interruption detecting part 12a which is connected to the third paired conductors T3 and detects the service interruption at the third conductors T3. The coupled part 11 is equipped with the filter circuit, and one side T12 of the first paired conductors T1 and one side T31 of the third paired conductors T3 are connected together or made to serve for combined use.
