<p>The present invention relates to a shock absorbing device for a vehicle with multiple shock absorbing stages. One embodiment of the invention comprises a first deformation part in which a first plastic deformation occurs by expanding for absorption of shock energy in the event of a collision, a second deformation part which is arranged on a line extending from the end of the first deformation part and in which a second plastic deformation occurs after the first plastic deformation of the first deformation part for subsequent absorption of the shock energy, and an expansion guide part which is coupled with the end of the second deformation part and arranged between the first and second deformation parts to cause the first plastic deformation of the first deformation part. By the above configuration, the present invention can improve shock absorption per unit length, be applied to a vehicle with a short shock collapse distance such as a next-generation car because the absorbed shock energy per unit length is high, and minimize injury to passengers by reducing the acceleration in the collision as much as possible.</p> |
