PURPOSE: A cover coupling device for a box is provided to maintain the strong connection of first and second covers and to improve the operational reliability of a box by preventing a joining lever from being separated from a hanging sill because a press part is pushed by an external force. CONSTITUTION: A cover coupling device for a box comprises first and second covers(30,50), a joining and shielding part(40), and a joining lever(60). The second cover shields one side of the first cover. The joining and shielding part is projected from the outer edge of the first cover. The joining and shielding part comprises a joining space(S). The joining lever is inserted into the joining space of the joining and shielding part. The joining lever is elastically transformed toward the exterior of the second cover. The joining lever is combined with the joining and shielding part. The force that elastically transforms the joining lever is transmitted to a press part(65). A hanging bar(67) of the push part is projected to the joining and shielding part and is combined with one side of the joining and shielding part.
