PURPOSE: A lateral nozzle hair dryer is provided, which minimizes the interval of a nozzle and a grip portion and increases the convenience of use and is capable of minute control. CONSTITUTION: A lateral nozzle hair dryer comprises: a blower section generating air current; a discharge unit(20) which heats the air current generated from the blower section and discharges the air current; a nozzle(10) which emits the air current of the discharge unit to the outside in a desired form; and a joint which is formed in one side end of the nozzle and is attached to the discharge unit. The discharge unit comprises a bent portion bent in the traverse direction.
