<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera highly efficient in utilizing light, acquiring an ocular fundus image in a clear and natural color. <P>SOLUTION: A dichroic film having characteristics of the reflectance of 40% to partly reflect the light of the wavelength emitted from a blue LED chip 17 is formed on a plane 15b of a ring lens 15. The dichroic film can directly reflect part of the blue light transmitting a fluorescent material 16 without exciting the fluorescent material 16, and the reflected blue light returns again to the fluorescent material 16 to be used as excitation light. The light flux excited to become fluorescence by the blue light reflected from the dichroic film returns again to the plane 15b, and transmits the plane to be collected by a convex 15a.
