<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that imparts a specific feeling of operation to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A data display/sensor apparatus 100 having a sensor-incorporating liquid crystal panel for displaying based on image data includes: a scanning section 122 that extracts scan data 22 which is the image data of a target object in the case where it is assumed that the sensor-incorporating liquid crystal panel side is a surface and its opposite side is a rear and if the target object is present on the rear side; an imaging section 14 that captures background data 23 which is the image data of the background; and an image combining section 13 that combines the scan data 22 and the background data 23.
