<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular braking device capable of suppressing fluctuation in a stepping force to be small when a remaining power capacity becomes zero during power supply by an auxiliary power source, and reducing a sense of incongruity on a driver, and a control method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular braking device includes a battery 2 and a DLC 3, an electric brake boosting device 5 for boosting the brake operating force of a driver by the electric power, a power source changing device 4 for changing the power supply to the electric brake boosting device 5 from the battery 2 to the DLC 3 when an electric power system of the battery 2 is failed, and a controller 5a for reducing a current value supplied to the electric brake boosting device 5 as a remaining power capacity is reduced if the remaining power capacity of the DLC 3 is equal to or smaller than a predetermined remaining threshold during the power supply to the electric brake boosting device by the DLC 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
