<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for indirect live wire work and a sharp point tool for indirect live wire work, for easy work of connecting a trunk line and a branch line to a connector as well as detaching work, by stably holding the connector that connects the trunk line and the branch line while surely holding the connector without being affected by the positional relationship with a worker. <P>SOLUTION: The tool for indirect live wire work holds a connector which includes a connector body which is so configured as to connect an installed trunk line and a branch line branching from the trunk line together, and a clamping member which is inserted into the connector body so that both ends protrude from the connector body and clamps the connector body from the inserting direction. The tool includes a pair of pinching part which pinch the connector body from such a direction that both ends of the clamping member protrude.
