<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active noise control system that generates an anti-noise signal in order to drive in such a manner that a speaker generates sound waves that destructively interferes with undesired sound in a target space. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided a sound-reducing system. The sound-reducing system includes a processor and an active noise control system 100 that can be executed by the processor. The active noise control system 100 is configured to receive an input signal 122 showing sound in a target space 102, to generate an error signal 124 by removing a first signal component from the input signal 122, and to generate an anti-noise signal 110 on the basis of the error signal 124. The anti-noise signal 110 is configured to drive a loud speaker 118 so as to enable the loud speaker to generate audible sound that destructively interferes with undesired sound 104 in the target space 102.
