PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the surface of from the top surface of a ridge to the surfaces of slopes to be continuously finished especially to a curved face in a ridge-coating machine equipped with a ridge-smoothening body having a slope ridge surface-smoothening part for smoothening the surface of the slopes of the ridge, and a top ridge surface-smoothening part having a plurality of blade plates and for smoothening the top surface of the ridge. SOLUTION: The ridge-smoothening body 1, equipped with the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2, and the top ridge surface-smoothening part 3 having a supporting member 31 being a body and a plurality of the blade plates 32 connected to the peripheral surface thereof, and rotated with the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2 by being connected to the tip part in the shaft direction of the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2, and mounted on the ridge-coating machine 10, is equipped with a connecting part 32a connected to the supporting member 31 and an extended part 32b continued to the connecting part 32a and extended to the downstream side of the upper ridge surface-smoothening part 3 in the rotary direction, and is obtained by forming a transition part 32d having a shape approaching from the upper ridge surface-smoothening part 3 to the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2 side over the upstream side of the upper ridge surface-smoothening part 3 to the down stream side in the rotary direction, and overlapping with the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2 at least at the terminal part of the extended part 32b in the slope ridge surface-smoothening part 2 side.
