PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet for oral use of vancomycin hydrochloride having no bitter taste when it is taken and useful for treatment of infectious enteritis etc. SOLUTION: There is provided a matrix tablet using a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 2,600-3,800 and/or a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 7,300-9,300.
