PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving apparatus of a display panel capable of suppressing deterioration of display quality. SOLUTION: The driving apparatus includes: a pixel driving potential generation part for generating first pixel driving potential higher than m reference potential on the basis of each of pixel data pieces taken-in in response to a load signal, and a second pixel driving potential lower than the reference potential; and switches for applying the first and second pixel driving potential, on a source line of the display panel, while switching the first and second pixel driving potential in each prescribed cycle. The electric connection is disconnected between a pixel driving potential generation part and the source line during only a prescribed period after supplying the load signal.
