PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column filler for measuring hemoglobin by a liquid chromatography method, having high durability and capable of performing high-accuracy measurements. SOLUTION: The column filler for measuring hemoglobins is manufactured by a step of obtaining a nonionic hydrophilic crosslinking polymer, by polymerizing a monomer mixture which contains at least a nonionic crosslinkable monomer and a nonionic hydrophilic monomer having a reactive functional group in a solvent, which dissolves the monomer mixture but does not dissolve a nonionic hydrophilic crosslinked polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer mixture, in the presence of a polymerization initiator; and a step of reacting a compound, which has an ion-exchange group reacting with the reactive functional group, possessed by the nonionic hydrophilic crosslinked polymer, with the nonionic hydrophilic crosslinked polymer, and obtaining the column filler.
