A tire which is highly resistant to wear and uneven wear and has enhanced traction performance on a wet road surface. The tire has rows (5) of block land sections divided and formed on the tread (1). Among the rows (5) of block land sections, two rows (5) adjacent to each other with a circumferential groove (2) therebetween are arranged in such a manner that the block land sections (4) forming the rows (5) are shifted from each other in the tire's circumferential direction, and grooves (6) each located between block land sections adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction extend so as to be tilted relative to the tire's lateral and circumferential directions. The distance (d2) between block land sections adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction is less than the distance (d1) between block land sections adjacent to each other in the tire's circumferential direction. Also, each block land section (4) in rows (5) adjacent to each other in the tire's lateral direction is configured such that the angle (a) of tilt, relative to the tire's circumferential direction, of a side wall (9) of the block land section (4), the side wall (9) being located on the groove (6) side, is greater than the angle (ß) of tilt, relative to the tire's circumferential direction, of the other side wall (10) of the block land section (4), the other side wall (10) being located on the side opposite the groove (6). |
