PURPOSE: An automobile number recognition device of a harbor cargo loading equipment is provided to recognize the number of a vehicle of the harbor cargo loading equipment through infrared communication by installing an infrared transmission module on the harbor cargo loading equipment and installing an infrared receiving module on a container crane. CONSTITUTION: An infrared transmitting module(10) is installed on a harbor cargo loading equipment. The infrared transmitting module transmits the infrared signal to the upper direction. The infrared signal matches with the license numbers of the harbor cargo loading equipment. An infrared ray receiving module(20) is installed on a container crane. The infrared ray receiving module detects the license numbers of the harbor cargo loading equipment.
