<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable understanding of whether or not an examination result of a patient having visited a hospital is displayed by each medical doctor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a small-scale diagnostic system 1, a medical image management device 3 is connected to a client terminal 7 via a communication network 8 for enabling data communication therebewteen, and the medical image management device 3 displays examination status information indicating an examination state of the patient stored in a storage part 33, on a patient information list display screen 350 of a display part 35. An unread table 331b is stored in the storage part 33, and the examination result of an examination corresponding to the examination status information is stored for each medical doctor, to show whether or not the examination result is displayed on the display part 35 or a display part 75. The medical doctor understands that the examination is viewed by himself or the other medical doctor, based on the patient information list screen 350 displayed on the display part 35 or the display part 75.
