<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved motor the harmonic frequency noise of which is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric motor includes a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted facing the stator. The rotor includes at least a first tooth 10, a second tooth 20 and a third tooth 30. These are adjacent. Each of these teeth includes a rib section, extending outward in the radial direction from a core, and a tooth section arranged at the outer end of the rib section. The angle between the first tooth 10 and the second tooth 20 is n degrees; and when the first tooth 10 is moved toward the second tooth 20 by rotating the rotor core at n degrees, the rotated second tooth 20 is prevented from coinciding with the third tooth 30 prior to the rotation.
