<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hull frictional resistance reduction device capable of evenly jetting air from a plurality of air jet holes formed on a ship bottom in which an air chamber is arranged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hull frictional resistance reduction device which reduces frictional resistance of the sailing hull by generating bubbles and forming a bubble film in the ship bottom 5 includes: an air chamber 22 arranged on the ship bottom 5 inside the hull, in which an air supply opening 28 is formed; a plurality of air jet holes 15 formed to be installed in a row on the ship bottom 5 being the bottom of the air chamber 22; and a diffusion plate 35 provided inside the air chamber 22 and interposed between the air supply opening 28 and the plurality of air jet holes 15. The diffusion plate 35 is formed to include at least: a supply opening opposing area opposing to the air supply opening 28; and a pair of jet hole opposing areas positioned at both ends in an alignment direction of the plurality of air jet holes 15 and opposing to the air jet hole 15.
