PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable foreign matter to be discharged early and securely in a connecting rod bearing. SOLUTION: The connecting rod bearing 10 is attached between a crank shaft pin and a larger end portion of the connecting rod and is configured combining semicircular upper-side and lower-side bearing metals 12, 14 with each other while including crash relief portions 16, 18 on an end portion of bearing sliding surface of each of the bearing metals 12, 14. It is also provided with foreign matter discharged grooves 20, 22 in each of the crash relief portions 16, 18 of the upper- and lower-sides bearing metals 12, 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
