PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating-type antistatic agent that reveals a high antistatic effect under an environment of a low humidity. SOLUTION: The coating-type antistatic agent includes a compound (A) represented by formula 1 and a compound (B) represented by formula 2, and the mass ratio (A)/(B) of the compound (A) to the compound (B) is 10/90 to 40/60, wherein, the compound (A) includes 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride, 1-butyl-3-methyl imidazolium bromide, 1-octadecyl-3-methyl imidazolium chloride, 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium ethyl sulfate or the like, and the compound (B) includes oleyl dimethyl ethyl ammonium ethyl sulfate, dodecyl dimethyl polyoxyethylene ammonium perchlorate or the like.
