The present invention relates to a safety stirrup. The safety stirrup of the present invention is a tool used to aid in horse riding, constituted by a frame and a pedal, wherein said frame and said pedal are freely rotatable relative to each other in the space of 180 degrees, using an insert pin as a support point. When the stirrup is set up, the pedal is rotatable by the space angle of 120 degrees in a clockwise direction, and rotatable by the space angle of 60 degrees in a counterclockwise direction. The step has a safety space of space angle of 30 degrees to allow a rider to place or remove his/her foot into or from the pedal. The above-described configuration not only enables the stirrup to have a wide range of space for rotation during riding but also allows the rider to remove his/her foot quickly from the stirrup upon occurrence of an unexpected emergency or a risky situation. Components of the stirrup of the present invention have novel designs, allow for easy processing and manufacturing, enable material saving, and provide improved practicality. |
